Poster Presentation Guidelines

The 14th International  Veterinary Immunology Symposium Organising Committee welcomes your contribution to the 2025 Symposium.

Please take the time to read these guidelines ahead of time to ensure your presentation is successful.

Prior to the Symposium
All presenters are required to register and pay for the Symposium. If you have not done so already, please click here to complete the registration form. All presenting authors must be registered and paid by 17 April 2025 to avoid being removed from the program.

Onsite at the Symposium
Please visit the Speaker registration desk in the foyer when you first arrive at the Symposium and collect your name badge and other related materials. 

If you have any queries regarding the program or your presentation, please visit the Speaker registration desk in the foyer. 

  • Posters remains on view for the duration of the Symposium.
  • Poster presenters must print their own posters and bring them to the Symposium.
  • Poster boards and the means to attach them will be provided by the exhibition coordinators.
  • Presenters will be notified of which poster session they are allocated to. Each poster presenter must stand by their poster and present it to interested audience members during their allocated session in the programme.

Posters should be designed on the dimensions of A0 (841mm x 1189mm, 84.1cm x 118.9cm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches), and in portrait orientation.

It can be full colour or black and white (colour is recommended for visual effect).

It will be the speakers’ responsibility to design, print, bring the poster with them to the Symposium and apply it to the Poster Area.

IVIS does not specify poster presentation formats, but templates are available online (click here for examples).

To facilitate clarity and readability, we recommend that delegates use a simple font (i.e. Arial, Calibri, etc.) and a minimum point size for Titles: 50; Headings: 40 and Body text: 20.

Posters to be allocated and applied as per the Poster Number document which will be supplied at a later stage.

Please note that the official Symposium language is English. All presentations must be made in English.
